8-year-old food artist Kasidy shares cooking tips and easy to make recipes for all ages.
WELCOME!
Here is my cooking show! All my episodes are under 10 minutes long. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show (that is, until you get hungry watching and want to go make the yummy recipes).
Kassidy, I watched your video and you are very entertaining. I really enjoyed watching this! I made the fudge last night and put powdered sugar on it also. It tastes great and I am taking it to work today. I am also doing a blog post and linking to your site so others can see your great creative reciepes. Keep up the good work! Hope to see some more soon!
I don't know how I made it to your blog, I think from your Mom's blog when I was looking for decorating stuff for my sons room and ran across her idea for hanging art. Anyway, fantastic site! You have a knack for being on film :) Great recipes too, keep it up!
1. Pour chocolate chips into glass bowl. Melt frosting in microwave for 1 minute.
2. Pour frosting directly into glass bowl with chips. Stir until mixture is melted thoroughly.
3. Pour mixture on sheet of parchment paper. Roll to desired thickness. Cover with parchment paper and smooth mixture. Place in refrigerator for one hour. (optional: lick spoons and bowls).
After one hour, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
Brush six one cup prep bowls with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar. Thinly cut 6 slices of lemon and place on into bottom of each bowl.
Zest the other lemon. Save 1 tablespoon of zest for the glaze and add all of the remaining zest into the cake mix. To the mix, add 1 tablespoon melted butter, egg and sour cream. Mix until smooth. Scoop batter evenly into prepared bowls. Place bowls in a circle on the microwave turntable. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Carefully remove cakes from microwave using hot pads or dish cloths.
For glaze, juice the lemon used for zesting and add to 2 tablespoons melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Stir well.
To serve, gently tap tops of bowls (I like to do it to a tune) to release each cake onto a dessert plate. Drizzle glaze over cakes and serve warm. Yum.
